Denver Flowers, New Orleans and Doctors? Lana Kellams

Dr. John plays 2 pianos

Thanks to Indigio and the Denver Botanic Gardens, our family enjoyed a night out that was tough to beat.

With a bad seat impossible to find, the sounds of New Orleans were up close at the Denver Botanic Gardens Concert with Dr. John and the Neville Brothers.  The subdued crowd sipped wine and enjoyed elegant picnic food.  Dr. John used his dueling pianos to get the crowd moving.

Next came the slimmed down Aaron Neville with terrific help from the percussions section as they sang and performed their classic material. They sounded great.

We had a beautiful evening, beautiful flowers at the gardens and a great time!

The kids found a Rolly-Polly and gave it a new pretty location in the Romantic Gardens. We will be back to check on MR. Rolly this summer.

    Hey Lana:

My name is Robin and I work at Denver Botanic Gardens. The pics you posted are awesome (especially Dr. John in his BRIGHT green suit). It was wonderful to have hosted you and your family at the concert. Please come back for more this summer!
