Behind the veil of Colorado's premier Interactive Agency

Brightkite Rocks Jim Halligan

May 22nd, 2008

The greater social media community has been buzzing for the last month or so about Brightkite, a location-based community that allows you to see where your friends are and what they are doing. Place-streaming has been used to describe the activity: post phots or notes from places that you frequent. It is a great tool to meet people around you and see who else hangs out at your favorite spots, and is very mobile phone friendly (BTW has an amazing iPhone app). The Denver company was recently funded and has done an amazing job of getting their name out to the social media junkies of the world. Still working around a few small quirks, Brightkite’s service a ton of potential and we hope to see them stick around for the long-haul. Be sure to check out their blog for the latest news on this exiting startup out of Denver.

If you want to check out Brightkite, and need an invite- email jim@indigio.com with your preferred email address, and use “Brightkite” in the subject.
