Marketing A Better Way of Living
May 16th, 2008
Last week I attended my first event as part of Indigio with Teresa Lawlor, chief strategy officer at the Colorado American Marketing Association’s monthly luncheon. As an association we are looking to possibly partner with, I was proud to have the opportunity to represent Indigio and hear Christopher Fisher of GAIAM speak about “Marketing a Better Way of Living”. As a company that has become a 350 million dollar company, GAIAM is founded on promoting personal development, wellness and environmental responsibility. Through corporate responsibility initiatives like “Go Zero” to offset the carbon footprint they have found a recipe for success by using social marketing to promote corporate responsibility and distinguishing the GAIAM brand.
Indigio is well on its way toward this effort through our efforts with the Denver Botanic Gardens, Habitat for Humanity, CSIA, Toys for Tots, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. We too are establishing a strong corporate culture and promoting social marketing from the inside out. May we keep the spirit up and forge ahead. Booyah!!!
