Can you say SWEEP?
May 2nd, 2008After moving to Colorado in August 2007, I quickly embraced the local sports teams attending a Broncos, Rockies and Avalanche game. With that said, having been born and raised in Michigan, I will forever be a Detroit Rock City girl!
So, today I must say to all of my fellow Indigians that while it was a good fight, the Detroit Red Wings are moving on to the Conference Finals after sweeping the Colorado Avalanche with a 8 – 2 victory last night.
I will conclude my blog entry by simply saying….Go Wings!

Never, under any circumstances, attend a Broncos game. Unless of course, you were going to see the other team whoop on them (ahem, COLTS)!

Yeah Yeah. I hope in the next round 87 year old Chris Chelios finally gets pushed around! I will never wish the Wings good luck. I will definitely be rooting for the Stars/Sharks in the next round.

T & I are on the same page and I will be cheering for the Stars/Sharks as well. Never would be one to cheer for a team such as Detroit… The Avs weren’t the best team this time; however, they are one of the most consistently talented and kind spirited teams to exist. I will still be cheering for the Avs as I am a true fan…and Down w/ Detroit!!

I have been an Avs fan since they moved to Denver. Yes, I’m that old. As an Avs fan, you have to hate the Wings. You can admire their skill, but you DO NOT root for them, ever! You people live in Denver now, you need to switch sides.
