Habitat Dedication in Englewood, CO Erin Quinn

April 6th, 2008

Back in early February, a handful of Indigians put in a full day’s work to help paint a Habitat for Humanity home in Englewood, CO. On Wednesday, Terri, Thomas, Ronnie and myself returned to the home site to participate in the official dedication. While I may be a little bias based on the fact that we painted the ENTIRE house in one day, it was absolutely beautiful!

I was also surprised at the number of people who turned out, but I’m glad we attended as we all walked away feeling good about the 8 hours that we took out of our busy schedules to help two families who both shed tears as they thanked us for our generosity.

We don’t have a date for our next Habitat event, but stay tuned as we will let everyone know once it has been locked down.
