Heather Sharp Accepts Exciting Volunteer Opportunity at CSIA
February 6th, 2008
Congratulations to our Marketing Manager, Heather Sharp. She has been asked to serve as a volunteer co-chairing the Colorado Software & Internet Association’s (CSIA) Steering Committee. This is an honor and I am very proud that Heather has been offered such an important role with CSIA.
What is CSIA all about?
CSIA is the voice and support network for Colorado’s technology and software industries. CSIA, through its public policy and advocacy work, represents more than 3,000 IT companies statewide. The mission of CSIA is to foster innovation and a positive growth environment to enable the technology industry in Colorado to compete on a global basis.
What will Heather be doing?
Heather will be leading the steering committee that is tasked on a strategic level to create and direct an environment conducive to creative thinking in order to better position and brand CSIA. She will submit recommendations to CSIA and the Board of Directors on value proposition statements, marketing direction, organizational and program branding, press relations and media development.
That sounds great, but what does it really mean?
Similar to how Heather has helped provide the marketing vision and strategy for Indigio, she will now help do this for CSIA.
So why Heather?
As most of you know and have seen this past year, Heather has done an amazing job of moving Indigio to new levels. She is organized, a hard-worker, thoughtful, creative and energetic. Most of all, CSIA has seen Heather in action. They felt she was the perfect person and has the right skills to assist CSIA in their marketing efforts. We could not agree more.
When will Heather be assisting CSIA?
Indigio has been kind enough to donate a portion of Heather’s work time each month, approximately 20 hours, for her to assist CSIA. Indigio feels it is important that technology companies have a voice and community in Colorado, so this is why we are willing to let staff members participate and provide assistance to such a strong and positive organization like CSIA.
Again, congratulations to Heather on this exciting opportunity. We know you will make us proud.
