I Can Forsee the Future Tim Colburn

December 7th, 2007

OK last weeks predictions broke even so you are all probably wondering where is all my money. Before you send someone by my office to have my legs broken let me try to make it up to you. This week I will do three pro games so there will be no breaking even. With college football’s regular season done I will have to meet the challenge of having less games to make you all rich. So with out any more delay here is what my crystal ball has told me.

Not to pick on the Lion’s but they can’t stop anyone on defense and now they lost their best offensive weapon in Roy Williams. Dallas is coming off a big win against my Packers and had a couple extra days of rest to heal up any dings their players might have gotten. Dallas is favored by 11 points and I don’t see this game even being within 20. Take Dallas minus the 11 points.

We have now seen New England struggle the last two games with teams not even on the same level as Pittsburgh. Randy Moss looks like he is having hamstring and ankle problems again and Pittsburgh is the best defense in the league in every major category. With the Steelers getting Santonio Holmes and Troy Polamalu back the team should be better than its last two showings as well. If New England has a weakness its their run defense and lack of a run game which really plays into Pittsburgh’s game plan. I am not calling for the mighty to fall but Pittsburgh will stay with in the 10 point spread. Take Pittsburgh plus the 10 points.

The last prediction is to take St. Louis plus the 7.5 point spread. I don’t see Cincinnati beating anybody by more than a touchdown especially the surging Rams. Bulger is back from getting his noggin knocked around and Stephen Jackson seems to be back in full force. With Cincinnati’s defense as awful as it is I could see St. Louis winning this one outright. I also like the over in this game of 47 points if the weather is fair. If its snowing than going against the spread is even better but stay away from the over. St. Louis plus the 7.5 points is the pick.
