Indigio & CSIA Co-Sponsor Local Web 2.0 Speaking Engagement Heather Sharp

Friday, November 30th, 2007

Tim Higgins, CEO of IndigioAs I have been out and about attending local Chamber of Commerce and misc. networking events and seminars, it is inspiring to hear all of the local buzz that Indigio has been getting in the Denver area.  I have to thank our partners at CSIA for their never ending support and contributions to our organization.  We really strengthened our partnership this past September when our CEO, Tim Higgins, spoke on a panel about Web 2.0.  The panel was cooperatively sponsored by Indigio and CSIA and drew approximately 120 attendees to the event.  The panel presented Tim and I with the opportunity to meet the following fellow speakers:  Jon Nordmark from eBags, Mike Forbus from Propel Advertising and Matthew Taylor from ViaWest.  CSIA has been the organization to open the doors for us to connect with these fellow Denver businesses, and we are ever grateful to them for facilitating this opportunity.

Well the weekend is here and you are all probably wondering how can I make an extra buck while doing nothing. Is it even possible? Yes it is and the answer if football, the greatest game of all. How will football make me money you ask? Well I am going to predict for you four games (2 pro and 2 college) that cannot fail and are sure to make you money. If you think I am lying than just ask some of my co-workers (or Henry) who have taken my advice in the past and are now living the high life. Henry can now send his kids to Harvard because he took my advice and bet the Over of 52 points in last nights Green Bay and Dallas game. Without anymore delay here are the picks. Windows Vista VS Linux Ryan Hadley

Friday, November 30th, 2007

(A very biased comparison)

About 7 years ago I started to dual boot Windows 98 SE and some flavor of Linux. This was the start of my exodus from the Windows world. I started spending more and more time on the Linux side than on the Windows side, and I liked it. By 2002 I was working for a wireless security company that had 75% of the staff running Linux, no dual boot. I quickly followed suit at work and at home, switching my flavor to Gentoo. So for 5 straight years I never used windows for my personal desktop. But for the last 2 full months I have lived 100% in Windows Vista.

JavaScript and the Importance of Namespaces Henry Fieger

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

We’ve recently encountered some problems with third-party JavaScript libraries. Many of the libraries obfuscate their functions or use poorly-named functions. In particular, we’ve had three recent functions called “s” from three separate libraries. When you try to combine all three libraries on a single web page, the functions clash.

Picture Day becomes a competition for the Media team. Dave Winget

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Jamie Streib - Voted Indigio’s favorite girl from the 80’sNot wanting to be outdone by Dan, Jamie Streib took matters into her own hands and appears to have gone to a professional for her picture day photo.

Was it Glamour Shots? Was it Wal-mart? No one can be certain - but wherever she went all we can say is “Well done.” Not only is she sporting her favorite leather jacket but she pulled out all the stops with her always classy Glam-A-Star™ earrings. Breathtaking Jamie, truly breathtaking.

This is going to be a tough one to beat, my friends, Jamie has taken picture day to new heights!
